Lafayette County Fair has been held at its current site on the East side of Darlington since its inception over 150 years ago. The site borders the Pecatonica River, leaving it vulnerable to flooding and no room for expansion. A small group of individuals has come forward with a big idea: create a new location for the Lafayette County Fair and so much more. Make it a facility that can be utilized year round, for classrooms and education along with animal shows, concerts, events and so much more. Make it innovative. Make it a community gathering place. Encourage people, not just from Lafayette County, but from the entire Midwest, to come to the facility, to use the facility and to enjoy all the Lafayette County has to offer.
